Longtail Pro is an SEO tool that will help you find longtail keywords to rank for, track your rankings, and analyse the content marketing strategy of your competition. The software uses a variety of metrics to analyse the keywords. Content marketers and bloggers will benefit most from this tool. We've secured lifetime access to the platform. You can access the lifetime deal here.Longtail Pro is a keyword research tool. You can use it to identify niche specific longtail keywords that are relevant to a URL or find longtail keywords that are relevant to a specific topic you are writing about. Keywords are analysed based around metrics like search volume, bid per click, backlinking potential, and the potential value of that keyword if you are able to rank for it.
You can also use Longtail Pro to monitor the keyword rankings for various terms. Combined these two features provide the information you need to develop your strategy and monitor if your strategy is working. You can, of course, do the same thing to rank how your competitors are doing, and analyse their content marketing strategies.

What do you like best?
Longtail Pro is an affordable SEO tool if you're just starting out online. The platform has the functionality you need to do keyword research and backlink analysis.
The entry tier plan is great. I also like the fact they have a limited lifetime deal available.
What do you dislike?
It can't compete with the functionality of more established SEO platforms. When you have the money, invest in a tool like Majestic, Ahrefs, or Moz.
Great tool for bloggers and small business owners

What do you like best?
I'm a blogger with my own site. I don't have the budget to spend $99 a month on ahrefs or one of the other major SEO tools. Longtail Pro fits my budget.
Longtail Pro provides me with the data I need to conduct keyword and competitor research. It has been critical for helping me get more traffic to my website, which translates into money in the bank.
What do you dislike?
No complaints so far :-)
Good all round SEO tool

What do you like best?
I'm using Longtail Pro for our client SEO campaigns. It is simple to use, the interface is clean, and it's very effective and powerful. I think most marketers would agree that Longtail Pro is one of the best keyword research tools around. Covers everything that we need.
What do you dislike?
We have to use it in conjunction with other SEO tools like Majestic SEO, which we use for tracking trust flow, and ahrefs for traffic volume and DR.

What do you like best?
I've been using Longtail Pro for over two years and it keeps getting better. It has helped me and my VA achieve higher rankings and as a result more revenue for my company.
I find the software easy to use. I can see the stats for my website quickly and identify useful keywords for my content. The support is also really good.
What do you dislike?
Need to use other tools to get the full SEO picture. But at the start Longtail Pro was enough for me.

What do you like best?
Longtail Pro is my favourite SEO weapon and it has helped me gain higher search rankings. Here are some of the benefits:
1) Doing keyword research fast. The keyword explorer has a lot of data. It shows search volumes, and has a relieable keyword difficulty indicator.
2) Rank tracker. It shows how rankings for selected competitors are changing over time. This gives me insights that I can act on.
What do you dislike?
Nothing. I am very happy with what the platform provides.
Actionable SEO data and insights

What do you like best?
Longtail Pro provides lots of actionable data from SEO to PPC. They have an API integration with Majestic, which provides data like trust flow. This is really useful for offsite link building.
I find information like keyword profitability and search difficulty useful for clients when discussing SEO strategy. Great tool.
What do you dislike?
Keyword competitiveness is not an exact science so take this information with a pinch of salt.

What do you like best?
Overall, I love Longtail Pro. It provides a wealth of information for keyword research. One of my favourite things is the competitive intelligence features. Being able to see what strategies your competitors are applying can provide a real edge to your marketing.
What do you dislike?
The interface is easy to navigate, but it's something they could improve. Also, I recommend double checking the data that they provide with a secondary tool if you're serious about your SEO. But these are not major issues.
One of the best SEO tools for beginners

What do you like best?
I've been using Longtail Pro since it was first launched to do keyword research for my website. It's a great platform and the team behind it keep on updating it and making it better. Plus customer support is outstaning. AND it's cheaper than most other SEO tools with the same functionality.
What do you dislike?
The fact that they now use a SOftware as a Service model, which makes it more expensive than it used to be.
Use Longtail Pro to manage client campaigns

What do you like best?
Longtail Pro is a good all round SEO tool. I use it for keyword research and keyword difficulty. It provides lots of ideas for keywords to target, which comes in useful when conducting a content audit for client websites as well as developing a content marketing strategy.
What do you dislike?
I don't really dislike anything in particular about Longtail Pro. I'd like to see Longtail Pro expand into other keyword research like Youtube for instance, which is something a lot of my clients are interested in.
Great tool for competitive research
Kam
What do you like best?
We use Longtail Pro for competitive research and keyword research among other things. I works well for identifying longtail keywords that we might want to include in an article we are writing or updating. It's easy to use and it's cheap compared to most of the competition.
What do you dislike?
The limit on manual could be higher. You're currently limited to 200 keywords. The limit on seed keywords could also be doubled from five. Neither limitation is a big problem, but it would be nice to hav more.
Easy to use keyword research tool
Anita Smith
What do you like best?
Being able to find longtail keywords that are relevant to your niche is invaluable. All of the information, like search volume and difficulty, helps me decide what terms I should include in my articles. It's nice to then see the additional traffic the research brings in a couple of months down the line.
What do you dislike?
Doesn't give you as much insights on your competitor SEO/ content marketing strategies as you get with some of the other SEO tools.
