2

Anyone engaged in business knows the importance of cold email outreach. To send cold outreach emails, you need email addresses. Sure, you can search the Internet, but there’s a risk the address will be incorrect. This is where a good email finder comes into play.

In this guide, we’ll share a roundup of the best email finders on the internet. Before we dive in, let’s get our definitions in order.

What Is An Email Finder?

An email finder is a software that parses HTML pages to get the email addresses you need. Email finders don’t just look for the names you’re looking for on websites. They can also collect other details about a prospect.

You can use email finders to get not just the email addresses of prospective clients, but also of people in charge of websites. For example, you might use an email finder to secure the details of a person you’d like to write a guest post for (many blogger outreach tools have an email finder feature). You can also an email verification tool to validate an email addresses.

In this article, let’s look at the best email finders in the market. For this list, in particular, we used accuracy and affordability as criteria. Ease of use was also considered, among other factors.

Let’s get started!

Voila Norbert

Voila Norbert was recently elected as the most accurate email finder out there. That’s not at all surprising; it’s hard to top a whopping 98% accuracy rate thanks to its updated database of contacts.

Voila Norbert can also be used to verify email addresses. All you need to do is submit your email list and Norbert will remove all duplicate email addresses, all invalid email formats, and all email addresses with inactive, invalid or parked domains for you. That will help you keep your sender score up, so you don’t have to worry about your emails going to the spam folder of your prospects.

Don’t worry if you’re a first-time user.  there’s no steep learning curve with Voila Norbert. Since even first-time users of the toll can easily navigate the tool. Just access your account or the Voila Norbert website and input the name of the person you’re looking for, and the company that person is affiliated with. If your list is short, expect results in a couple of seconds. You can also validate email addresses in bulk by uploading the .CSV file on the website, or by copying and pasting the email addresses from your spreadsheet.

Voila Norbert’s plans start at $49 a month for up to 1,000 leads a month. The Butler plan costs $99 a month for up to 5,000 leads a month, the Advisor plan $249 a month for up to 15,000 leads monthly, and the Counselor plan at $499 a month for up to 50,000 leads monthly. Each plan, however, comes with a free trial. Once you create an account, Voila Norbert gives you 50 free credits. And you only need to pay for successful emails found!

FindEmails

If you’re on a tight budget and you want an email finder that gives you results, then FindEmails is the one for you. With its plans that start at $29 a month, FindEmails is easily one of the cheapest email finders with robust features you can find in the market. The $29 a month plan already gives you as much as 1000 email search credits. The Better plan costs $49 per month and includes 2550 credits, while the Best plan offers 10000 credits for $99 per month. You can also purchase additional credits for only $0.02 each.

The thing is, FindEmails actually delivers. Like Voila Norbert, it has one of the highest accuracy rates in the market. So if you can’t seem to find someone’s email address on your own, you will most likely find it with this email finder.

FindEmails is easy to use, too. All you need to do is install the Google Chrome extension. That means you don’t have to open a new webpage to conduct a search of prospects. You have multiple options for searches, too. For instance, if you don’t have a name, you can just type in the job post of the person you’re looking for, and FindEmails will give you results.

FindEmails, however, does not integrate with other applications such as Google Sheets.

Hunter

Hunter is one email finder that can integrate with applications such as Google Sheets. It is, however, expensive for the features it offers. Its paid plans start at $49 a month, with only 500 searches allowed. The Growth plan is $99 a month and allows for only 2500 searches, the Pro plan $199 a month for 10,000 searches, and the Enterprise plan at $399 a month for 30,000 searches.

Hunter has advanced search parameters which you can use in your search of prospects. For instance, you can search by the technologies used by specific companies, and by popularity. Its accuracy level is one of the highest in the markets as well. The tool also allows you to track emails sent through Gmail with its built in MailTracker extension.

This email finder offers up to free 50 searches without billing you, but the problem is, you have to make a second, separate search just to verify that an email address is active.

Snov.io

Snov.io’s free plan is a standout in the market. If you register for the plan, you will not only get access to 50 monthly search credits and 100 email drip recipient credits. You can also get access to high-performing sales templates for your email drip campaigns.

If you decide you need more credits, you can upgrade into the paid plans.

The paid plans are not as expensive but are not cheap either.   The Small plan costs $39 per month for 1000 credits and 1000 unique recipients. The Medium plan costs $69 per month and offers 5000 credits and 5000 unique recipients. The Large plan costs $129 a month for 20,000 credits and recipients, and the XL plan $199 a month for 50,000 credits and unlimited recipients.

Although the tool works perfectly fine, and its ease of use is great, you might have some problems with customer support once you ask for help. Some users have complained of the lack of customer service.

Ninja Outreach

Ninja Outreach has an extensive social media database you can have access to for your cold outreach. The Flex and Pro plans, for instance, give you access to a database of 64 million Instagram influencers, 7 million Twitter influencers, 19.5 million business emails, and 6 million bloggers. The Flex plan also gives you one seat, one connected email, 1000 contacts, and 10,000 emails per month. As for the Pro plan, you get  three seats, four connected emails, 4000 contacts and 15,000 emails per month.

The problem, however, is that Ninja Outreach doesn’t give you a confidence score. There’s no accuracy score publicized either, which means there’s no knowing if the email address you got is actually the one you’re looking for.

Compared to the other email finders, Ninja Outreach is also very expensive. Its Flex plan costs $299 per month and its Pro planis $499 per month. If you pay for one year of access upfront, the price goes down to $119 per month for Flex and $199 per month for Pro.

Anymail

If you’re the cost-conscious type, then Anymail is the one for you. You get value for your money because only the emails this email finder is sure won’t bounce are charged to you. B sure I mean it’s 97% sure it will reach the intended recipient. That’s great since it means not one cent of your money will go to waste.

Unlike the other tools on this list, though, Anymail has very limited functionality. For example, you can’t search based on job title. So you’d need to know the name of the person you’re looking for.

Although Anymail offers a free plan, it is very limited as it allows you to verify only up to 20 email addresses. There’s a $49 plan that gives you 1000 verified addresses, a $99 plan that gives you 5000 verified addresses, and a $149 plan that gives you 10,000 verified addresses.

Don’t expect great customer service either with some users complaining about this.

GetProspect

If you’re looking to reach out to other businesses, GetProspect is your email finder. Unlike the other tools on this list, GetProspect uses LinkedIn, the biggest online professional network in the world, in particular, to look for data. Since it specializes in B2B relationships, you can get in-depth data from each company. It can give you the company’s website, physical address, phone number, and number of employees. You can also search by company size, industry or geographical location.

With GetProspect, you  can export contacts to an XLS file. You can use the web-based interface. The tool can also be integrated with many apps such as Gmail, Hubspot and Salesforce.

The problem, however, is the accuracy of the tool. Some customers have pegged it at only around 75%.

GetProspect has a free plan which allows you to find up to 100 email addresses. Its paid plans start at $49 a month for 1000 addresses. The Basic plan costs $99 per month, and allows you to search for up to 5000 addresses, while the Plus plan costs $199 for 20,000 addresses. There’s the Pro plan that allows you to search up to 50,000 emails for $399 per month.

All plans include unlimited team access, imports, CSV exports, integrations, and API calls.

Clearbit

Clearbit has access to over 200 million contacts at 20 million companies. If you don’t know the name of the person who holds a position in a particular company, all you need to do is input the organization and the relevant department, and Clearbit will give you a list of relevant names.

Clearbit prides itself in giving always fresh data. Its website says its data refreshes in real time so even if people change jobs in a given month, your data will still be accurate. In other words, you wouldn’t have to worry about reaching out to the wrong person. Clearbit’s email deliverability rate is also one of the highest in the industry.

In terms of integration,  Clearbit does that well with Gmail. It also integrates with apps such as Slack, Segment, Connect and Zapier.

Clearbit gives you a free trial if you  register. Its pricing plans are not displayed on the website but in 2017, they ranged from $199 to $999. In other words, the email finder is among the most expensive in the market.

Aeroleads

Aeroleads is one of the few that can work with websites such as AngelList and Crunchbase. You can get as many as 15 data points when  you  search.Apart from the full name and the job title, you  can get the business phone number, generic company emails, and the location of the company. All this data will be shown in the prospects’ page of your Aeroleads account.

This email finder is user-friendly, too. To use it, all you need to do is sign up and install the free Chrome plug-in. You can export data to CSV or transfer data to Hubspot, Zoho CRM, Zapier, Pipedrive, among others, with just one click!

Aeroleads also has a solid support via chat, email or phone. So if anything goes wrong, you can always contact them.

The problem, however, is that the tool is a bit costly. It offers a free plan but that only gives you ten credits. Beyond that, you’d have to purchase the Takeoff plan, which costs $49 a month.

Findthat.Email

Findthat.email calls itself the Yellow Pages of Email. And for good reason. With this tool, you can find the email addresses of prospects easily. Just type in the domain and the name, and you’ll get those, including the sources where the email addresses were taken. This way, you can decide whether or not you find the sources credible or not. A confidence score is also sent for every email address result.

You can also cleanse your list of mistyped, fake or old emails. Findthat.email doesn’t rely on server responses to determine whether an email is valid. It requires at least two sources declaring an email address as valid before it gives that result to you. There are some reports the tool, however, is slow.

The tool is affordable, with its paid plans starting at $29 a month. For $999 a month, you can get as much as 100,000 search credits. The email finder also offers a free trial but only allows for 50 search credits.

LeadGrabber Management Finder Pro

This email finder is probably one of the oldest there is in the market today. That doesn’t mean, however, that it doesn’t work as well anymore.

With LeadGrabber Management Finder Pro, you can build prospect lists 20 times faster with research automation macros. The tool can help you  search for the contact details particularly of C-level company executives. These details include the name and the company title, the verified work email address, the person’s phone, and even the executive’s LinkedIn account.

This email finder also helps you build company lists from different websites such as job boards, and social networking sites. If  you already have a list, you can just import it into LeadGrabber Management Finder Pro.

For 19,000 leads in a year, you’d have to pay $3495 annually. For $4995 a year, you are allowed 30,000 leads. You can also create a custom plan.

Some customers, however, have said the tool can be unstable. Some also said the email finder doesn’t always come up with 100% results.

FindthatLead

With FindthatLead, you can get a list of email addresses just by inputting the company’s URL. That means, you don’t need to have a name to get an email address. If you do have a name, you can input that and the domain, too, to get an email address.

It’s easy to use, too. FindthatLead is available as a Google Chrome extension and as a web app. That means all you need is an Internet connection to look for email addresses. You  can even do that while riding the bus to work, or while walking to get your favorite bagel in the bakery across the street. If you encounter any problems, though, you might come across what some customers have described as poor customer support.

FindthatLead is affordable. For $49 a month, you can get 5,000 credits and send up to 400 daily emails. The Startup plan is the most popular plan; for $150 a month, you get 18,000 monthly credits and can send as much as 500 daily emails. The Suite plan gives you 30,000 monthly credits and allows you to send as much as 750 daily emails for $399 a month.

Lusha

With Lusha, you can access as many as 36 million C-level profiles, 100 million business profiles, and 50 million company profiles. The results are accurate, too. It’s no wonder then that over 121,000 companies use this tool.

The good thing about this email finder is you can also integrate it with your online work environment. Since all you need to do is download the extension to your browser, you can use the tool from anywhere–from B2B sites, to Gmail, and social media networks such as LinkedIn.

Lusha offers a free plan, but that only gives you five credits. Its paid plans start at $39 a  month for 50 credits per user monthly. For $49 a month, you can get 80 credits per user per month. To get the cost of the Enterprise plan, you’d need to call them.

RocketReach

RocketReach claims to have the biggest and most accurate database of emails and direct dials. With its real-time verified data of 430 million professionals across 20 million companies worldwide, it’s no wonder it’s trusted by over 6.1 million users.

Apart from finding people on the tool, you can develop your lists and track marketing campaigns. The toll also allows you to create personal and reusable email templates that integrate with your email provider. It also allows you to organize your contacts into full customizable lists and integrate them with your existing CRM or ATS.

RocketReach offers five credits per month for free. You may end up, however, wasting your credit only to find out that the email address you got belonged to a person who has not worked in the company for years.

Its paid plans start at $59 a month for 125 lookups. For 300 lookups per month, you’d need to pay $119 a month, while for 833 lookups per month, you’d need to shell out $299 a month.

UpLead

The good thing about UpLead is it doesn’t charge you for contact details that you’re not looking for. This is not to say, however, that UpLead’s accuracy rate is not high. It is actually one of the highest in the industry, with its data verified in real-time.

You can search for an email address by entering a contact name and company, or by entering the URL. UpLead includes the phone number and social links of the person you’re looking for, too, so if for some reason you can’t reach them via their email, you can reach them via those channels.

The tool is affordable: for $99 a month, you get 200 credits under the Basic plan. Previous credits, according to some customers, can also be carried over to the next month. The Plus plan costs $199 a month for 500 monthly credits, while the Professional plan costs $399 a month for 1500 credits.

Some customers, however, complain of a steep learning curve when using the tool.

GetEmail

GetEmail uses machine learning and big data algorithms to search for email addresses. Because of this, it can find even the email addresses that some email finders would not be able to find. The best part is, most of the time, the tool is accurate. There are some misses of course, but overall, it’s a solid email finder.

The product is very easy to use, too. Unlike most email finders, with GetEmail, you don’t input the name of a person and the company to initiate a search. After installing the extension, all you need to do is click on a LinkedIn profile, and GetEmail will look for that email address for you.

GetEmail offers a free plan for ten credits. Its basic plan starts at $49 a month for 300 credits. Its most expensive plan is Ultra, which costs $399 a month for 10,000 credits. Each of the four paid plans comes with a free test. Some customers have complained the plans are not as flexible as they’d like them to be.

Theemailfinder.co

If you’re looking to build relationships with other businesses, then emailfinder.co is just the email finder for you. With this tool, you can get a list of the email addresses of business contacts you’re looking for in minutes.Theemailfinder.co will display the sources of those email addresses. The best part is, it will also filter generic or personal email addresses so you’ll know which ones to send your email to.

Theemailfinder.co allows you to do bulk searches of email addresses from a list of names and companies. You, however, need to be signed in to do this. The tool is fairly easy to use.

Theemailfinder.co offers a free plan for a whopping 150 requests. CSV exports, however, are not allowed. Its paid plans start at $65 for 1,000 requests and CSV exports. The Pro plan gives you 5,000 requests and CSV exports for $130. There are no additional features.

Finder Expert

Finder Expert allows you to look for prospects by domain or using LinkedIn or Twitter data. This tool is not just great for marketers and salespeople. It can also be used by recruiters and human resources personnel looking to fill a vacancy in a company.

You  can look for contacts by first and last name.  You can also find out what you need to know by domain, including the company email address. The reports, however, are not as in-depth. Once you have your contacts, you can use Finder Expert tools to target your content.

Finder Expert is very affordable with its paid plans that start at $39 a month for 5,000 credits. For 10,000 credits, you pay only $59 a month. For 20,000 credits, you pay $69 a month. Each plan allows you to verify email addresses for free.

Skrapp

Skrapp allows you to search for email addresses given a company website or name, and the name of your target lead. Unlike many email finders that take too long to give results, Skrapp prides itself in its fast harvesting and processing of data that allows users to get results in milliseconds.

Skrapp’s algorithm indexes public websites and simulates emails based on the email patterns of companies. To check if email addresses exist, it also interacts with email servers. The good thing is, the email addresses are verified before they are given to the user.

You  consume a credit once the tool returns an email address that has been verified. The problem, however, arises if the email address that has been verified still doesn’t match the one you’re looking for.

The good thing is, you only consume credits for each first time you search for a specific email address. If you search for an email address a second time, Skrapp won’t charge you for it.

Skrapp offers a free plan for 150 emails a month. Its paid plans  start at $34 a month for 1,000 emails a month and two users. For $69 a month, you can get 5000 emails and five users. The enterprise plan costs $139 a month for 20,000 emails a month and eight users. The global plan costs $209 a month for 50,000 emails a month and 15 users.

Sellhack

Sellhack was built for small and large sales teams. The tool allows them to easily find emails, build lead lists, verify emails, and sync with SalesForce.

The results are, more often than not, accurate, too. Sellhack uses a 12-step verification process and an email verification engine that is one of the best in the industry. In a few seconds, you will have the most likely email address for your prospect.

Sellhack has other features people in sales can use. For example, they can set reminders for when they need to follow up. There’s also  drip marketing for sales.

Sellhack is probably one of the cheapest email finders out there. It doesn’t have a free plan, but its paid plan starts at only $5 a month for 100 email credits. The basic plan costs $19 a month for 350 email credits,  while the starter plan costs $49 a month for 1,000 email credits. The Pro plan costs only $99 a month for 2,500 email credits and more advanced features.

The features of each cheap plan, however, are limited.

Emailmatcher

Emailmatcher taps 280 million contacts from its database to give you the email addresses you’re looking for. You have two options to search: Go to the emailmatcher website, or download the Google Chrome extension. Whichever option you choose, all you need to do is type in the name of the person you’re looking for and the domain.

Some users, however, have complained that the product churns out a lot of misses. But since the product is free, that was probably expected. According to John Carroll, founder of Amplemarket, there are no plans to charge emailmatcher users as the company’s core product is still Amplemarket, an AI-powered assistant.

What’s the Best Among the Best?

Now it’s time to choose the best email finders from this list.

In my opinion, Voila Norbert and FindEmails are the best of the best. Voila Norbert’s accuracy is hard to top. A 98 percent accuracy rate is not something you see very often. And in an email finder, that’s what’s actually very important.

FindEmails, on the other hand, works great for its price. For a minimum of $29 a month, you get an email finder that gives you almost 100% of the time the right email addresses.  Like Voila Norbert, FindEmails’ accuracy rate is also one of the highest in the industry.

Ultimately, the best email finder for you will depend on what you’re looking for. Determine the features you’d like to have in an email finder and which you can’t compromise, and use this article to guide you. I’m sure you’ll get that tool that’s the perfect fit for you and your business.
